Jeanne grew up in the Bay Area and was interested in art and design from an early age. After working for an interior designer in Orinda, California for a high school internship, she was determined to work for creative people. She attended Georgetown University in Washington, DC, and graduated with a degree in Linguistics with a minor in Art History, and during the summers worked for a floral design company in Lafayette, California. After graduating and returning to the Bay Area, she continued to work in floral design for a small design company, and occasionally on her own, creating designs for many weddings and events. Simultaneously, she worked as a sous chef at a small catering company in the East Bay. After several years of working, Jeanne decided to travel through Europe, visiting thirteen countries from Italy to Sweden, and attending The Grange cookery school in Somerset, England. Inspired by the European aesthetic and wildflowers of the English countryside, she returned to California and launched her own floral design and styling company. Jeanne also continues to cook professionally as a caterer and private chef, and enjoys bringing her expertise of food and flowers together in events.
